Unmuut ("we", "our", or "the Platform") is a LinkedIn content management platform that helps professionals create, schedule, and optimize their LinkedIn presence. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services at unmuut.xyz.

When you create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk), we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not store your password — authentication is handled securely by our third-party provider.
When you connect your LinkedIn account, we access your LinkedIn profile information and the ability to post content on your behalf, based on the permissions you grant through LinkedIn's OAuth flow. We store your LinkedIn access token securely and use it solely for the features you activate (posting, scheduling, commenting). We do not sell or share your LinkedIn data with third parties.
We store the content you create within the platform, including posts, comments, knowledge base entries, personas, and workspace settings. This data is associated with your account and used solely to provide our services to you.
We collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and credit consumption to improve our services. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
When you use our free tools (Profile Analyzer, Hashtag Generator, Post Grader) without an account, we collect your IP address solely for rate-limiting purposes. This data is automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not store the content you submit to free tools.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and maintain our services, including content generation, scheduling, and publishing. Personalize your experience through Voice DNA analysis and content recommendations. Process payments and manage your subscription. Communicate with you about service updates and important notices. Improve our platform and develop new features. Comply with legal obligations.
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Neon (PostgreSQL) for database storage and Cloudflare for our API infrastructure. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. We implement access controls and regularly review our security practices.
LinkedIn access tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked by you at any time through your account settings.

Clerk — Authentication and user management. LinkedIn API — Publishing and scheduling content on your behalf. AI Providers — Content generation (we send your content context to AI models to generate suggestions; no personal data is shared beyond what's necessary for content creation). OPay/Paddle — Payment processing. Cloudflare — API hosting and security. Vercel — Frontend hosting.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances: with your explicit consent, to comply with legal obligations, to protect our rights and safety, or with service providers who assist in operating our platform (subject to confidentiality agreements).
